Defending Champions Look For New Leadership

Defending Women’s Champions Palmyra have opened applications for the Head Coach/Manager role for the 2019 Alcohol.Think Again Season.

After winning the 2018 Alcohol. Think Again Women’s competition Palmyra are on the hunt for experienced rugby coach to help guide and develop their very talented squad into the 2019 season.  The club is looking for both experienced coaches as well as people who are passionate about aiding and supporting grass roots rugby within a professional structure of a strong premier rugby club.

About Palmyra Rugby Club

Founded in 1934, the Palmyra Rugby Union Club, or “Pally” as the club is affectionately known, is one of Perth’s premier rugby clubs competing in the RugbyWA Premier Grade competition.

In 2018 ‘Pally’ was again crowned Senior Club Champions for the WA competition and would like to build off that success by having five senior teams and one Colts team in 2019. With four teams playing in grand finals and two becoming season champions in 2018 we are looking for strong candidates to fulfill several positions as coaches and managers.


Smart Rugby Compliant.

(Desired) Level 2 ARU Coaching Certificate or current level 1 ARU Coaching accreditation.

Proven experience in similar coaching role or environment

Strong rugby knowledge or playing experience.

Being able to work in a professional driven team environment.
